BLUETOWN is helping build a better-connected world – ITU Telecom World 2016 Bangkok

BANGKOK: BLUETOWN attended the ITU Telecom World conference in Bangkok, November 14-17 2016, to present our vision for connecting the unconnected across the world. BLUETOWN is working in rural India, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ghana to make connectivity accessible and affordable.
Approximately nine thousand participants from around the world attended the conference. BLUETOWN spent the four days engaging with governments, regulators, private partners and media, who all had an interest in our low-cost, sustainable Wi-Fi solutions and wanted to understand how they could incorporate BLUETOWN in their country. This included high-level representatives from several countries, such as Nigeria, Madagascar, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Angola, Myanmar and Thailand.
Rural connectivity was a major topic at the conference. Connectivity enables higher standards of living for people in rural areas of the world and decreases urbanization. BLUETOWN – with our innovative and sustainable solutions – is working for a world with equitable ICT access for all.
Further, BLUETOWN is proud to say we support 12 out of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
