After a period of intense on-ground activity, we are pleased to return with a major project update. BLUETOWN has been driving forward transformative digital infrastructure efforts nationwide, and one of our most substantial ongoing commitments is the expansion of Wi-Fi connectivity throughout Bihar’s public healthcare network. Initiated in 2023, this initiative has grown into a large-scale, rapidly advancing program with far-reaching outcomes, delivered in close partnership with BSNL.
Under this project, BLUETOWN has been deploying secure and high-speed Wi-Fi infrastructure across Primary Health Centres, District Hospitals, Regional Hospitals and Sub Divisional Health Centres across the state. These facilities now have improved access to digital systems that support patient care, including electronic medical records, telemedicine capabilities, diagnostic data transfer and seamless communication between medical teams and administrative units.
The expansion is designed to enhance operational efficiency within the healthcare system while ensuring that citizens across both urban and rural regions can benefit from stronger access to digital health resources. By enabling reliable connectivity within critical health facilities, BLUETOWN is supporting improved response times, more coordinated medical decision making and better continuity of care.
This initiative represents a long-term investment in strengthening Bihar’s public health ecosystem and reflects our ongoing commitment to building inclusive digital infrastructure for essential public services. The project continues to scale, supported through active collaboration with BSNL and state-level stakeholders, and work is already underway to further extend the network to additional facilities.
